Here’s a fact — Losing weight comes down to eating less food/fuel than your body burns.

This DOESN’T mean you need to feel hungry 24/7... Nor does it mean you should feel miserable or deprived!

Instead, you have to be strategic about the foods you choose to eat on a regular basis. Check out the best 5 ways to eat LESS food without feeling deprived:

1. EAT PROTEIN FIRST! Protein helps to keep you feeling full, so you’ll need less food throughout the day without feeling hungry.

2. DRINK COFFEE. Current research suggests that caffeine can help suppress your appetite. Drink coffee or caffeinated tea to help naturally suppress hunger.

3. EAT ONE SALAD A DAY. Chances are, if you eat one salad every day for lunch or dinner that’s filled with protein and veggies and a lighter dressing, you’ll likely lower your total calorie intake.

4. DRINK ENOUGH WATER. Often times, our bodies mistake hunger for thirst. Stay hydrated to avoid excess snacking!

5. KEEP MEALS SIMPLE. The easier your meals are, the less likely to add extra calories AND the less time they take to prepare. It’s a win-win!

Do YOU have any strategies that have helped you eat less on your weight loss journey?
