Work with a Nutrition Coach Who Makes Weight Loss Simple, Sustainable, and Customized to YOU!

Nutrition is the most important part of any weight loss journey—after all, you unfortunately can’t “out-exercise your fork.” At Strong with Sarah, I’ll help to simplify nutrition and create balanced meals that you enjoy while losing weight.

My approach to nutrition coaching isn’t about obsessing over every single calorie or buying an exhaustive list of ingredients for complicated recipes.

Instead, we focus on sustainability — promoting food and/or macro tracking and building healthy habits that fit into your busy lifestyle.

Let’s learn about the positive changes you can expect when working with Victoria or I.

Who am I a Great Fit For?

I like working with people who are ready to put an end to the overcomplication of nutrition and start building habits that actually last. If you're tired of counting every calorie, doing trendy diets, or wondering what to eat — and would instead love a realistic, compassionate, and judgment-free approach — we'll be great friends.

I work best with people who are willing to learn, stay consistent, and trust the process more than insisting on overnight magic.

What is Mindful Nutrition?

What is Mindful Nutrition?

At Strong with Sarah, we focus on mindful nutrition, helping you become aware of both your food choices and the emotions that drive them. Emotional eating, often triggered by a hectic lifestyle or unexpected life events, can be managed by making intentional choices that nourish both your body and mind.

Sustainability is a huge part of the journey. We believe in learning to enjoy all foods while making healthier decisions, and incorporating seamless habits into your daily routine. We understand that for many of us, accountability is the key to successful weight loss.

This is why we provide accountability via logging calories/macros in MyFitnessPal, or by using photos/written descriptions of your food intake directly in our coaching app.

Who am I NOT a Great Fit For?

If you're looking for a quick-fix diet, a super strict meal plan with no flexibility, or somebody to just tell you what "good" foods and "bad" foods are — I'm probably not your girl.

My approach is more empowering than punishing. I don't believe we need to dive into all-or-nothing mentality or food shaming. Instead, I help you create a healthier relationship with food — one that will function within your life, your objectives, and your body.

Nutrition as a Part of Weight Loss Coaching

When working with clients, nutrition coaching isn't something extra — it's the foundation of my program. From Silver to Platinum, I help you choose the nutrition path that works best for your personality and your lifestyle. Most clients start with one of two nutrition “tracks.”

Here is a breakdown of each component of nutrition coaching:

  • At Strong with Sarah, the Healthy Habits approach to nutrition focuses on gradual, sustainable changes that build a strong foundation for long-term success. Unlike tracking calories and macros, this method is ideal for those looking to make meaningful improvements without the stress of constant calorie counting.

We begin by introducing one healthy habit at a time, focusing on consistency over a two to three week time period. This allows your body to adapt, and together with your accountability coach, we assess your progress before adding new habits or building upon the existing ones. This personalized approach ensures that each habit is tailored to your unique lifestyle, areas of opportunity, and goals.

Examples of healthy habits include aiming for 10,000 steps daily, drinking 100 ounces of water, eating 4 servings of fruits and veggies daily, or eating only when experiencing true physical hunger, among others. These habits are designed to fit seamlessly into your life, promoting sustainable weight loss and overall wellness.

Instead of tracking calories in MyFitnessPal, healthy habits clients add photos or written descriptions of everything they eat and drink to our coaching app, Everfit. This provides accountability so that we, as your coaches, see everything you eat and drink without needing to count calories or macros.

  • At Strong with Sarah, the second track that some clients begin with in terms of nutrition is tracking macros/calories. The tracking calories/macros approach is designed for those wanting faster results and a better understanding of their nutritional intake from a data perspective.

Based on your height, weight, activity level, and nutrition preferences, we calculate your ideal calorie and protein, carbohydrate, and fat levels. Using the MyFitnessPal app, you and your coach can monitor your food intake in real-time. As you track your calories per day, your nutrition coach will analyze the results and adjust your goals accordingly.

While tracking macros can be an effective short-term strategy for weight loss, we understand it isn’t a long-term solution for everyone. That’s why we encourage clients who begin tracking in MyFitnessPal to transition to the Healthy Habits approach with the support of your online nutrition coach, ensuring sustainable weight loss and lifelong wellness.
