Working with the Strong with Sarah team was a game changer for me. I had tried so hard to lose weight on my own for years with no success. And then...the pandemic struck. I gained more weight. Soon after the worst 2 years of it were over, I found out I was pregnant with my third child. That was a blessing, but naturally, I gained more weight.

It offers common sense nutritional and fitness advice, as well as unpacks some of the negative or distorted thinking that gets most people into unhealthy habits to begin with.
While it can seem an investment, overall I believe it to be a great value for the price in terms of having a personal coach, and the videos and reference materials are really excellent - I watched some of them 3-4 times.
It is very important to approach this program less as a "quick fix" and more as the beginning of a journey that will have ups and downs, but ultimately move you closer to many different types of personal goals.

I had a failed experience with a dietician in the past and felt nervous about trying a coaching system like Strong With Sarah. At the same time, I was steadily gaining weight and felt desperate and out of control. Six months later, I can say that working with Strong With Sarah was a fantastic investment. I have always had a difficult time holding myself accountable when it came to my diet. Before working with the SWS team, I struggled with losing weight, keeping whatever weight I had lost off, and "yo yo" dieting. I chose to work with SWS's coaching because I wanted a kind approach to accountability. For example, I wanted to work with a team that would help me work towards my goals but would not be judgmental or unrealistic. As such, I was initially fearful of "messing up" or not hitting my goals. However, I could not have asked for a better coaching team. My coach, Victoria, always viewed my challenges with a positive lens and easily troubleshooted whatever challenge I was facing (i.e. stress about overeating during vacations, instances when I wasn't able to exercise, traveling, work-life stress, etc.)

This approach, along with all of the educational materials, group calls, and tools on the app made consistency more attainable which was key to my success.
I chose the platinum program, and my one on one bi-weekly video check ins with Britt made the biggest impact. It gave me time to ensure that I was prioritizing my health and commitment to the program. It also seemed to always come at the perfect time. As soon as I started to get frustrated with my lack of focus, my coaching call would come and I reset.
I ended up losing 45 pounds with SWS. My weight loss was very steady and consistent but not my only focus. I stuck with the program and decided with my coach to adhere to weigh-ins and photos. This was never the most important aspect, but was a great way to visualize results that I did not always feel. It added a layer of commitment and vulnerability that I needed to achieve my goals.
My life is different after working with my coach in the SWS program because I have acquired skills to not only maintain success but recognize when I need to make my healthy choices a priority. I also know that this program is available as I need it to reset, re-engage or achieve new goals.

I’ve always considered myself of average size. I’ve been somewhat active most of my life and ate how I considered (at the time) to be decent. I gained weight easily, but it never got too out of control. That was until I gained 30lbs over two years during graduate school and found myself at the heaviest I’ve ever been.
I had been living in denial until I saw pictures of myself at my best friend’s wedding and realized I had a big problem. I needed to do something. I started researching help that night. When I came across Sarah’s website, I just knew she was what I was looking for. I booked a call right away. Sarah just seemed so straight forward, no frills, nonjudgmental, relatable, and supportive.
We started working together in February of 2020. Well, we all know what happened just a few weeks later.
Over the past year during Covid, I have lost one job, switched to work from home for another, finished my master’s degree online, relocated across the country, started a different job, was diagnosed with a new food allergy, lost family members, and more. It was the least ideal time to work on my health…and it was the best time to work on my health.
Throughout it all Sarah was an anchor, reminding me to put my health first, focus on what I could control, and kept me accountable. It’s so hard to explain her method because it just seems like such a no-brainer! It’s just how we’re meant to live. We worked so incrementally that the process just built on itself and never felt overwhelming. I ended up creating habits before I even realized I had. We focused on remaining in a very realistic calorie deficit, eating more nutritious foods, and getting in some movement. I never once felt deprived. Through the process I have gained such a healthier relationship with food. I no longer think in terms of “cheating” or “bad vs good”. “When I first came to Sarah, I was at the heaviest I had ever been. I maintained my weight that fluctuated between 232 and 246 pounds, for over 3 years after my son’s birth. I had tried many different diets that just didn’t work for me and were never long lasting. I was at a complete loss and I knew I was desperate for help. I couldn’t find the will or motivation to get started. Prior to working with Sarah, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Psoriatic Arthritis, and Obesity. Wow, seeing “Obese” on my medical record was a HUGE wake up call. I cried for weeks and couldn’t go back to the doctor that labeled me as obese. I was devastated. From the Fibro and PA, I was constantly in pain and any activity took a toll on my body. A simple 30 minute park session with my son put me down for hours and in worse cases it put me down in to the next day. My knees and back would ache because I picked him up and played with him. I would be winded not even 5 minutes in to play and would have to stop and just walk around a bit while watching him play. I would constantly push myself just to be able to play with my kid. I was out of breath walking in to a store with a large parking lot. I was out of breath just doing household chores.
When I met Sarah, I had a lot of misinformation about weight loss. I thought I needed to change every part of my life and live uncomfortably to be able to lose more than 10 pounds. I thought I had to drink fruit infused water, while completing a 21 day cleanse and only eating vegetables because fruit had too much sugar. Sarah taught me how to live a comfortable life, set boundaries with my eating, keep active, gain muscle and lose weight. This all happened while I was still drinking Starbucks (full sugar) twice a week, eating out once a week, and not restricting my coffee intake. I used the tools that Sarah provided me with and it forever changed my life. I am able to go out to eat with my friends and family and not feel uncomfortable with my food choices. I have the ability to go to a family gathering and know that it is okay to bring my own salad or any food I prefer to eat. I have the ability to enjoy my “happy meals” without guilt and be able to stop when I am 80% full.
Sarah not only helped me with my fitness and nutrition but her tools helped me during a very tough time. While I was working with her, I was involved in a serious car accident; an accident that I was able to walk away from and recover so quickly, it impressed my doctor. I can truly say if it wasn’t for Sarah being in my life, I would have never walked away from that accident with no broken legs and heal the way I did. After the accident I was able to use my knowledge with nutrition and not fall in to an emotional eating hole. I was able to maintaining a healthy diet and continue to lose weight, even though I was not able to work for out months after the accident.
Hiring Sarah as my Personal Nutrition Coach has been the by far the absolute BEST thing I have done to better myself. Sarah has been the most amazing person to work with and gave me my life back. Before I started working with Sarah, I struggled to consistently make healthy decisions. I was either doing a strict diet like the Whole 30, or I was eating whatever I wanted without stepping on the scale and gradually gaining weight and going up in clothing sizes. I couldn't find a good balance that would help me to lose weight and still live life.
On my 33rd birthday, I was the heaviest I’ve ever been, and I felt terrible! I made a pact with myself, “I will not feel this way on my 34th birthday.” It was then that I decided to make some big changes and I started working with Sarah the next week. I knew that I had a better chance at being successful working with Sarah verses other programs because she was going to keep me accountable. I needed to know I wasn’t alone in this journey.
When I first started working with Sarah, I appreciated that we first focused on establishing healthy habits over time, like eating slowly. Other programs start out with which foods you can and cannot eat, but Sarah really wanted me to focus on my behaviors. I never realized how fast I ate and I definitely was a big overeater because of that. I know my overeating definitely contributed to gaining weight over time.
I also realized that I didn’t have to be “all or nothing”. I could still go out and be social with friends and family and indulge in a glass of wine or dessert here and there – as long as I was practicing healthy habits MOST of the time. I learned that this was a lifestyle change and not a quick fix. It also was extremely encouraging that I was still losing weight those weeks I indulged a little bit more – because I was still making healthy choices too!
The biggest impact on my life has been the shift in mindset. For me, losing weight was 100% about mindset. I realized that I could resist the cookies sitting in the kitchen at work, or the cake at a birthday party – and I would be okay. I didn’t NEED that food to feel happy or satisfied in that moment. I was going to save those indulgences for when it mattered more to me, like a date night with my husband, or at a friend’s wedding.
My life is completely different now. I lost 50 pounds in a year and am the weight I was at 10 years ago in my early 20s! I feel so much more confident now.
Losing weight and getting healthy has made me a better wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, employee, and more! I’m so much more comfortable in my skin and can truly focus on enjoying life.

Before working with Sarah, I thought I knew everything there was to know about weight loss and diets as I had tried so many. I struggled with emotional eating, staying consistent, being patient with weight loss, and most importantly I was so uncomfortable in my skin and embarrassed with my eating habits. I came to Sarah in the Fall because I was tired of being unhappy. I had transitioned from being a competitive athlete and had done all that I could to try and help myself lose the weight that I had gained over the course of a few years. In my eyes, weight loss seemed impossible and I wanted to feel like myself again.
Fast forward five months, and my life has completely changed in the best way possible. I believe that my mindset shift has been the greatest accomplishment, and the 20-something pound weight loss was an added bonus. I feel confident in my body, I have self-control around food, I know what foods are worth it to me when I want to indulge, and most importantly, I feel like myself again.
As I worked with Sarah, I was never afraid to be completely honest and open with her because I knew that there would be no judgement and she would only help me learn from my mistakes. The questions she asked me and techniques we used helped me to find the best way to sustainably accomplish my goals in order to FIT my lifestyle, not change it.
