Content Process at Strong with Sarah

Every article, guide, or resource we publish follows the same core steps, from identifying a topic worth covering to making sure the final piece is accurate, useful, and honest.

01

Topic identification

Topics come from real questions our clients and community ask. We write about what people are actually struggling with.

02

Evidence review

Claims are grounded in peer-reviewed research, established nutrition science, and guidance from credentialed professional organizations.

03

Expert authorship

Content is written by Sarah or a certified team member with direct subject-matter expertise. We don't outsource writing to generalists.

04

Professional review

All published content is reviewed by Sarah before it goes live to verify accuracy, consistency, and alignment.

05

Plain-language editing

We turn research into clear, practical insights, avoiding jargon, fear-based messaging, and oversimplification.

06

Ongoing updates

Content is revisited when evidence evolves or recommendations change. Update dates are noted where relevant.

Our Editorial Principles

Beyond process, there are a few non-negotiables that shape every piece of content we create:

  • We never publish content that promotes restriction, extreme dieting, or the idea that certain foods are forbidden. Our content is grounded in the belief that sustainable weight loss does not require giving up the foods and drinks you love.

  • We don't exaggerate results or rely on before-and-after framing that sets unrealistic expectations. Individual results vary — always — and we say so.

  • We call out diet culture myths directly and confidently when the evidence contradicts popular claims. Being accurate sometimes means disagreeing with what's trending.

  • We don't use guilt, shame, or fear as motivators. Our goal is to help you feel more capable and informed, not more anxious about food.

What We Don't Do

We don't accept sponsored content that requires us to endorse products or programs we haven't personally evaluated. When we recommend something — a product, an approach, a strategy — it's because we genuinely believe it's useful, not because someone paid us to say so.

We don't publish content written by AI and passed off as expert guidance. Our content reflects real coaching experience and professional judgment.

We don't make medical claims or diagnose health conditions. When a topic warrants it, we encourage readers to consult their physician or a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to their diet or exercise routine.

Questions or corrections

If you believe something we've published is inaccurate, outdated, or misleading, we want to know. Reach out directly to me at sarah@strongwithsarah.com, and we'll review it promptly.

We'd rather be corrected than leave something wrong on the internet.
