Questions about the Strong with Sarah Team

  • Strong with Sarah is an online weight loss coaching program focused on accountability, support, and non-restrictive diets. Sarah and her team of skilled, certified coaches work with you to create a personalized nutrition plan that will allow you to meet your weight loss goals in a safe and effective way, while still being able to enjoy your favorite foods and drinks (in moderation, of course).

  • Sarah is a proud owner of Strong with Sarah and a certified nutrition coach and personal trainer. She works alongside other professional coaches, helping numerous men and women achieve their goals.

  • Yes, Sarah of Strong with Sarah is both a certified personal trainer and a certified nutrition coach, in addition to receiving two bachelor's degrees from the University of Michigan.

    Plus, all of the coaches on Sarah’s team have either advanced degrees and/or certifications in nutrition and fitness. Our entire team prioritizes continuing education to stay up to date on the most current nutrition and weight loss research.

    On top of our educational experiences, Sarah and her team are more than coaches–they are cheerleaders, detectives, and your biggest fans. We work together to keep you motivated and healthy and get you to a place that makes you feel healthy and fulfilled.

 

Questions about our Online Weight Loss Programs

  • Strong with Sarah prioritizes your personal needs and tailors your program specifically to you. With a combination of research-backed nutritional changes, exercise and movement habits, and personalized accountability coaching, Strong with Sarah will create a plan that fits your needs, lifestyle, strengths, and goals.

  • Absolutely! If you have a knee problem, had back surgery, or need to do low-impact workouts, we will work with you to create a movement goal that meets your needs. We will also work with you to create a plan that works for your body to ensure you get the most out of coaching, even with physical limitations.

  • Absolutely! We offer different levels of coaching, as well as different phases of nutrition. Whether you need more accountability or less involvement but still want help, we have what you need. All of our programs give you access to your coach and prioritize your health and weight loss needs. We give you the option to choose the program that works best for you.

  • We tailor our program around you and how much or little time you have. We want you to be successful and love how you feel and look, so we work with you to create a program that fits into your life and can be done from anywhere on your cell phone.

    You will need to have some time to make changes in order to reach your goals, but we understand that life is busy for many of us and won’t slow down anytime soon!

    And we have a ton of experience helping people from all walks of life achieve their goals, regardless of their age.

Questions about Our Approach 

  • We know that everyone needs different forms of motivation to be successful, and we know that everyone responds differently to accountability. Some people need a cheerleader, and others need a healthy dose of tough love. That’s why the Strong with Sarah program includes multiple methods to help you stay on track, including text messaging, private and group coaching calls, and an app that sends customizable notifications as reminders and allows you to track your progress. Plus, if you ever need more accountability, you can send quick messages to your coach in between check-ins whenever you need.

  • No. Our coaches are real people too, and we love pasta and ice cream just as much as we love feeling great and being proud of our bodies. We will help you create a plan that incorporates healthy and nutritious foods that also allow you to enjoy the foods you love. We will help you find the right balance between great foods and great nutrition.

  • Most online weight loss programs are cookie-cutter, meaning they ask you to conform to their plan rather than create a customized plan that works for your life. Many of these programs don’t work because they’re not sustainable, and they don’t provide real accountability. 

    In comparison, we build a customizable plan that works with your lifestyle to help you achieve results while we support you in reaching your goal.

 

General Questions

  • We can’t guarantee a certain amount of weight loss. However, we are sure that if you follow our suggestions, are committed to trying new things, and effectively communicate with our coaches, you will both see results and love how you feel. On average, we target our clients to lose anywhere from 0.5 to 2 pounds most weeks.

  • Unfortunately, we do not accept health insurance at this time, but many of our clients have successfully paid for coaching with us using their Health Savings (HSA) or Flex Savings (FSA) accounts. Please visit this page or contact me to learn more, and I can share more details.

  • Absolutely! I am proud to share that we have helped clients all over the world, from the US to Canada, Europe to Australia, and even into Asia.

  • We require all new clients to agree to a 3-month minimum commitment together. After that, all coaching is month-to-month based on how long you feel you need support. The clients who achieve the best results and tend to maintain their weight loss long-term tend to work with us longer (on average, anywhere from 6 months to 18 months).

 

Questions about the Apps we use

  • Yes! A smartphone is required to work with us. As part of every online weight loss program, you will receive access to our Everfit Coaching App. This is the app we use with our clients to track progress, text message your coach, add photos of your food (if you are working on healthy habits), and more. If you choose to start tracking calories and macros with us, then you will also use MyFitnessPal (the free version works great!).

  • Both Everfit and MyFitnessPal can be downloaded from the AppStore for iOS users or the Play Market for Android users. Don’t worry, though; if you become a client, I will specifically walk you through how to download our apps and get started!

  • Unfortunately, at this time, all clients are required to use Everfit with us.

 

Questions about the Group Coaching Calls

  • There are usually 4 sessions organized per month, depending on the coaches’ availability. We usually inform our clients about upcoming group sessions in advance. These meetings are held via Zoom and are available to clients of all plans! They last one hour long, but it’s not a problem if you need to leave early.

  • Yes, regardless of what plan you are subscribed to, you can always join a group coaching session as many times as we organize them! However, we limit each group coaching call to a maximum of 10 clients so that everyone can participate and feel a part of something special.
