What’s more important to you...

The number on the scale OR living a life you enjoy?!

Seriously, I ask this because as a society we are TOO obsessed with the scale.

There is SO MUCH MORE to fat loss than simply the number on the scale. Yes, the scale is ONE tool we can use to measure progress... But there are tons of other ways to measure progress as well:

Measurements
Photos
Energy levels
Body fat percentage
How workouts feel
Sleep quality
How clothes fit
Normal bodily functions
How you FEEL
Living a life you ENJOY

I know women who weigh 110 pounds and are starving themselves and depriving themselves of EVER enjoying a cookie...

And I also know women who weigh 165 pounds and have 8% body fat. They are STRONG and FIT... They know how to fuel their body with nutritious foods most of the time, but also how to ENJOY chocolate and wine!

Society would probably tell the 110 woman she is “healthy” or “thin,” and the 165 woman that she is “overweight”... But is that really true?! NO!!!!!!

Ask yourself... Which person would you rather be?! Are your thoughts and actions moving you in the right direction?
