I know what a struggling snacker is because I used to be one…
Years ago when I was dancing in Chicago, I used to get SO HUNGRY between meals. I would grab pre-packaged, processed foods for snacks because they were easy to shove in my dance bag. I’m talking about skinny pop, sun chips, pretzels, 100-calorie bags of cheese its, and other snacks like that.
Is there anything WRONG with those snacks? NO!!
Buttttttt, are they the MOST nutritious snacks?! NO!!
Remember, nutritious foods contain protein, vitamins, minerals, and NUTRIENTS… Whereas non-nutritious snacks don’t contain many nutrients.
When choosing a snack, choosing a nutritious option is KEY because it helps keep you feeling full, helps you become more energized, helps you become stronger, and helps your metabolism and body run MOST efficiently!
When I became a SMART snacker, I lost weight, became more confident, had more energy, AND my dancing improved.
