Want to know the BEST way to lose weight?

Hint: There is NO this is the BEST way to lose weight 😉

There is so much information swirling around the "best" way to lose weight, with all this information it can be confusing on where to begin!

Here’s my best piece of advice:

Start simple and start small. Don't change soo many things at once, this will only lead to burn-out, overwhelm, and ultimately failure.

Here are 6 SIMPLE ways you can begin your weight loss journey today:

1. Drink more water. I recommend drinking 0.5-1 ounce of water per pound of bodyweight.
2. Swap out processed snacks for fruit. Yes it can be tempting to grab a bag of chips, pretzels, or a candy bar for a snack, but try swapping out these non-nutritious snacks with fruit.
3. Move more. I’m not necessarily referring to more workouts… Simply WALK more. Find ways to add more steps into your day.
4. Prioritize sleep. Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep most nights of the week.
5. Add lean protein to most meals. This does not mean you need to follow some fancy, elaborate recipe. Scrambled or hardboiled eggs. canned tuna fish, rotisserie chicken, and cottage cheese are EASY protein options you can add to meals.
6. Eat mindfully. In other words, only eat when you feel TRUE hunger, and stop eating when you feel satisfied. Try to eat with no distractions so you can focus on how you FEEL while eating.

Don't be tempted to implement them all at once, just choose ONE action from the list and begin incorporating it daily.

Which will you implement first?
