Weight loss and Determination are the Key!

So often on social media, we only see the EASY and FLAWLESS parts of people’s journeys… Especially when it comes to weight loss.

Heck, I’m guilty of this too. I often share my clients’ amazing transformation photos and results without discussing the struggles and sacrifices that were made to overcome their challenges.

I specifically chose to share this photo today because it is NOT one where I look happy and put together.

In fact, I chose it because it you can SEE the grit, determination, and struggle on my face. It was somewhere around miles 25-26 of the NYC marathon and I was struggling both physically and mentally.

It’s too easy to see everyone else on social media and in life absolutely CRUSHING their goals (like running a marathon or losing weight).

And it’s too easy to FORGET that ALL goals require some level of grit, determination, struggle, sacrifice, and strength.

It takes a level of vulnerability for people to open up and share their struggles which is why so many people only post their BEST photos and their BEST successes.

So my message for you today: Please friends, give yourself some love and grace. Know that the journey to lose weight (or to achieve ANY new goal) WILL have some challenges and struggles along the way.

Expect them, embrace them, and most importantly learn from your challenges and struggles.

But also know that it feels SO DAMN GOOD to achieve your goals! And that it’s absolutely WORTH every struggle to achieve something you once thought was impossible. You are worth it. ♥️
