When my husband Brad and I travel together, we try to find the CRAZIEST and most UNIQUE ways to stay active!

And no, I’m not talking about walking around our hotel or the local shopping mall… I’m talking about fun, adventure-seeking, adrenaline-pumping outdoor activities!

We’ve hiked through a bamboo forest on the Road to Hana in Hawaii.
We’ve surfed in Hawaii and California.
We’ve snorkeled and gone scuba diving and witnessed some exotic sea creatures first-hand
We’ve climbed up on Rocks and dove into the ocean from 20 feet in the air
We’ve gone running on the beaches of the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean
We’ve walked the entire ancient city of Pompeii in Italy
We’ve skied into an ice cave in Canada

I love finding new and exciting ways to stay active outdoors because it makes me feel good, both mentally AND physically!

Maybe that’s why I’m training for my second marathon?! It means that I’m automatically outside for at least 8-10 hours each week while I run!

Plus, there is absolutely NO NEED to waste time in the gym if you’re being ACTIVE and having FUN outdoors!
