It doesn’t matter WHICH diet you’re following... If you’re not ENJOYING the foods you’re eating, and incorporating your favorite foods and drinks in moderation, it’s only a matter of time before you FAIL and GIVE UP.

I cannot stress the importance of this enough!!!!!!!!

Sure, you can trick yourself into following a super strict diet and only eating foods you don’t like for a few days... or weeks...

But extreme restriction only leads to feelings of deprivation. It’s only a matter of time before you scarf down on entire carton of ice cream or eat the entire package of cookies.

Here’s my best advice:

1. Stick with REAL, nutritious foods that you ENJOY most of the time. If you love broccoli but hate carrots, then EAT broccoli often and pass on the carrots.

2. Plan ahead, decide and EXECUTE. Choose exactly when and how much of your favorite “play” foods you plan to enjoy each week.

3. Eat enough protein. ALL nutrients are important for weight loss, but protein is especially key. It helps you feeling full, so that it’s easier to maintain a calorie deficit.

Restriction is NOT necessary to lose weight, as long as you follow these 3 steps.
