Ways to Process Stress or Emotions

Are you struggling with emotional eating during this pandemic?

If you answered YES, then this is for you. 💜

First off, know that you’re not alone if you struggle with emotional eating. Many people I work with suffer from some form of emotional eating.

One of the best ways to stop emotional eating is to choose a different way to feel and diffuse your emotions AHEAD of time.

The list I provide in today’s image includes some common alternatives to eating when you feel stressed or upset, but theses are NOT the only things to do instead of eat when feeling emotional.

The beautiful thing about overcoming emotional eating is that there is no right or wrong activity to do instead of eat (unless it’s something that harms your physical or mental health).

If nothing on this list resonates with you, then explore other ways to process your emotions.

I promise if you plan ahead of time how to prepare for a new way to process and diffuse your emotions, it becomes easier to execute when your emotions hit.
