How to Start Your Weight Loss Journey

Let’s get real: beginning a weight loss journey can be daunting, but staying on one can feel even more daunting!

That’s why it’s so important to make sure that you are setting yourself up for success– not just for your immediate goals, but for a lifetime of habits that are attainable and that work for your unique lifestyle. After all, beginning a weight loss transformation is a process that starts with determining your goals, and continues with developing new muscle memory to make you stronger in keeping your goals alive.

That said, one of the most difficult parts of getting started is deciding how to actually begin your new routine. After all, trying to get familiar with various programs and diet methods can easily become overwhelming, especially due to the sheer number of options there are out there, from the passing fad to the unsustainable diet. A new routine can require changes to how you spend your time and money, and you’ll likely have to adjust old and comfortable habits.

If starting a weight loss regimen means beginning to lose yourself, perhaps by giving up all of your favorite foods, to sacrificing your life to the altar of the treadmill, to damaging your metabolism in the process, then you didn’t beat your goal: your goal beat you!

My Strong with Sarah team offers the hope, knowledge, and support you need to see your goals through to the end. We believe in personal effort and accountability for your goals (or changing them when new challenges or opportunities arise!). This accountability and work ethic is filled with coaching, community, cheerleading, and check-ins to make sure you feel supported as you establish and keep new habits and re-evaluate your relationships with food, exercise, sleep, and more.

But with so many weight loss-related industries that swap hard work and accountability for quick fixes and gimmicks, it can be difficult to know which diet and weight loss program is truly effective. My guess is you decided to begin a weight loss program again because you’ve already tried some of those other methods.

That’s why my team and I created an effective weight loss program for busy individuals who are maybe not new to beginning a weight loss journey, but they are new to the notion of making a lasting change through conscious decision-making in different parts of your life, over a period of time, and in community with other people.

My weight loss program is extremely effective due to several reasons:

  • Strong with Sarah is convenient, sustainable for your life and wallet, and - most importantly - meant for the long haul.  You can read more about my weight loss coaching program here.

  • It is flexible and convenient! When you are beginning a weight loss journey, you are likely looking for something that works with your schedule already, without big, drastic lifestyle changes. Finding a system that is flexible and convenient is crucial to losing weight in a way that’s sustainable and not burdensome. It’s important to find something that can be sustained with a busy schedule.

  • We get personal! In my 1:1 weight loss coaching, we create a personalized program that is right for you, no matter what kind of schedule you have. It doesn’t matter if you work 3 jobs, or are a full-time parent, employee, and/or student: With Strong with Sarah, beginning a weight loss journey means setting yourself up for success by providing all the resources you need, including coaching time, accountability tools, and a peer network.

  • It’s a team effort! Having a team that is committed to your weight loss from the beginning to the rest of your life is crucial. But the key to winning is learning how to still enjoy the foods you love (in moderation) as we work together to help change your mindset, and coach you to a life that you’ll LOVE!

  • My weight loss program is about fostering nutrition and healthy habits that include proper accountability to help keep you on track. At Strong with Sarah, our weight loss coaching model provides you with accountability skill-building so you can cross those milestones and keep moving forward.

In essence, my clients can testify that my online coaching program actually works, and they are continuing to give accolades of their pride in doing more than taking and keeping the weight off: they are living with the invisible weights taken off their hearts and minds as they feel less chained to guilt, shame, and longing for “forbidden” foods or guilt of what workouts they haven’t done. Instead, they went from beginning a weight loss journey to forging new paths, based on sustainable healthier mindsets for their lifestyles.

There is so much more I can share about the exciting and powerful Strong with Sarah coaching method. When you are ready to take the next step in beginning your weight loss success story - and all its future epilogues - please reach out!

I can’t wait to get to meet you! Once you are ready to take the plunge in beginning your powerful weight loss transformation, please contact me here to get started. Expect to hear from me or one of my teammates soon, because we believe in responsiveness to you and your needs.
