One of the BIGGEST mistakes I see people make when trying to lose weight is unintentionally eating more calories they realize.

Most of us simply FORGET that the cream and sugar in our coffee adds calories.

So does the fun-sized piece of candy after lunch.

So does the bite of your kid’s Mac and cheese.

So does the mayo on the lettuce wrap.

And the dressing on your salad.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re tracking your nutrition in an app like My Fitness Pal or not, simply becoming aware of EVERYTHING that you’re eating and drinking is 💯% necessary in order to lose weight successfully.

If you’re not logging your calories or macros, keeping a written or photo food journal for a 2-3 days can be extremely helpful in learning exactly how much food you’re eating.

And if you ARE tracking you’re calories or macros, be sure your portion sizes are as accurate as possible, and be sure to add EVERY LITTLE THING that you eat and drink to your food diary.

Have you ever made this mistake before? Did it affect your weight loss results at all?
