Actions vs Outcomes when it comes to Weight Loss
If your #1 focus is the number on the scale, then you’re focusing on the WRONG thing.
I KNOW!
Right now, you’re probably thinking something like:
“What the heck — The weight loss coach just told me that if I’m focusing on the scale I’m focusing on the wrong thing. That makes no sense.”
Here's what I mean:
Wanting to lose weight is a great outcome goal, but putting all of your efforts into the number on the scale alone will not cause you to lose weight. As humans, we have no control over how quickly or how slowly we lose weight.
You have NO control over how quickly you lose inches off of your measurements… Or how fast you’ll see your six-pack… Etc.
However, you are 100% in control over the actions you take daily which will lead to weight loss.
Like, drinking more water, hitting 10k steps daily, eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, and exercising 3x/week.
All of these actions done consistently over time LEAD to your outcome goals.
So don't put in too much effort and emphasis over something outside of your control.
Instead, put more effort and emphasis on actions that are inside of your control.
What is one action that you can implement this weekend to help you lead a healthier life?
