It’s not keto. Or weight watchers. Or Whole 30. Or Medifast. Or Jenny Craig. Or Slim Fast. Or magical pills and potions. Or fat burning supplements. Or ANY other fad diet out there.
The best nutrition plan for YOU is the one that allows you to lose weight and still ENJOY your life.
Some people lose weight and truly ENJOY eating low-carb while following Keto, so for those people, Keto IS the best nutrition plan for them.
Other people may LOVE counting points on weight watchers, and they plan to do that for the rest of their lives. So for those people, weight watchers IS the best nutrition plan.
Neither of those ✌🏻 programs work for me personally. I refuse to give up carbs (I love pasta too much), and I do NOT want to count points (or calories or macros) for the rest of my life. And that’s OKAY! It doesn’t make these nutrition plans “wrong” for the people they DO work for.
I’ve created the perfect nutrition plan for ME. It allows me to enjoy my favorite foods (like chocolate and wine) occasionally while still eating nutritious foods most of time.
At the end of the day, what’s MOST important is that you find or create a nutrition plan that allows you to achieve your goals (like weight loss) while still LIVING and ENJOYING your life. And it MUST be sustainable long-term.
If you absolutely hate tracking and counting points, or if the thought of giving up carbs makes you want to cry, or if you know deep down that you CAN’T live the rest of your life on meal-replacement bars, then you know the programs that AREN’T meant for you!
Don’t waste your time trying them.
Find what will work for you and go with it!
