The secret to eating healthy and losing weight

Is losing weight a constant struggle, even though you try to stick to a healthy routine?

If so, this one is for you, keep reading.

Eating nutritious doesn’t automatically equal weight loss… Annoying, I know! Wouldn't that be amazing if it did? 

Even though eating nutritious foods is GREAT for your optimal health goals, portion sizes are just as important!

Let me explain that a bit more:

Check out the example in the image above. The nutrition choices are pretty straight forward right? You don’t see any desserts, any simple carbs, any booze, or any pizza. 

But, the total number of calories for the day is 2136… which is hard to maintain for MANY of us, and may even be a calorie surplus (aka GAINING weight) for others!

Therefore eating healthy doesn't actually equal weight loss!

In order to successfully lose weight, you MUST eat in a calorie deficit!

Don’t misread me here, the quality of the foods you are eating is VERY important, but quantity matters too!

Remember this: If you know you’re already eating nutritious foods at least 80%, pay attention to your portions. Read the labels of your food and understand the TRUE serving size that you’re eating.
