All calories count, but you DON’T have to count calories in order to lose weight.

Let me explain…

In order to lose weight, you must be in a calorie deficit. That means your body burns more calories than you eat.

Every day, each calorie you eat adds to your total caloric intake… But you do NOT need to count your calories in order to lose weight!


In fact, in the past year alone, I’ve worked with 2 different women who both lost over 50 POUNDS without ever counting calories.

By all means, tracking calories and macros in MyFitnessPal definitely works for some women, but not for everyone. Some of my clients track macros using MFP, but others don’t. You can successfully lose weight BOTH WAYS!

Check out my best 4 tips to help you lose weight WITHOUT counting calories:

1. Eat 3 meals a day when you feel hungry. Each meal fits on one plate. Fill half of your plate with veggies, a quarter of your plate with protein, and the last quarter with carbs and fats.

2. If you’re hungry in between meals, eat no more than 2 snacks per day. Each snack fits into the palm of your hand and is either a veggie, fruit, or protein.

3. Choose drinks that are calorie-free… like water, sparkling water, coffee, tea, diet soda, etc.

4. Want to enjoy alcohol? Cool. Replace one snack with one drink and both snacks for two drinks.

Be patient and consistent when following these 4 rules, and watch your results happen!
